Project 1: Stamp
I didn't really know what to do for this project. So what I did was I looked online at some references and then brainstormed for what I wanted to do. After a bit, I decided to do a fern, and that's what I did.

There aren't any pictures of it, but after it came out of the kiln, I realized the bits were all too big and would go too deep into clay works. Next time I will use the subtraction method instead. I think this mistake was due to not really knowing what I was doing.
Project 2: Face
Planning
I took inspiration from the moon in Majora's Mask, because it expressed an extreme anger, and I thought it would look really cool. I started out by making the eyes and nose, Nose first, then I made the eye sockets really large and wide.
This here is how the project ended. It did not make it into the kiln for 2 main reasons. I didn't like how the jaw and teeth turned out, it kind of messed up the overall shape, and the second reason being that the eye sockets were too deep, and I couldn't dig into them. Next time I would have planned for the jaw, and used less clay for it. Then, I would have made the eyes less deep and built the shape up more with clay instead of digging into it.
Project 3: Underglaze
I made a BIG mistake on this. I was out sick with COVID for a week, so I missed the instruction, and when I got back I assumed that it was just an underglaze project. So what I did was make a small bread bowl by making a small pinch pot, adding some shapes that looked like baggettes, cheese and apples. Then I put some underglaze on it. This went wrong, because I didn't put enough layers, or even really know how to do underglaze. I learned from this I should always check in on what to do, and that how I used underglaze was wrong. If I were to redo this project, I wouldn't have made it.

Relief Tile + Historical
The project I made is modeled after a ancient Balete tree, which are culturally important in the Philippines. Balete trees are massive, ancient trees with thousands of vines hanging from the branches native to the Philippines and Africa (although under a different name). They are associated with witchcraft. In Siqijour, the island my Lolo's (grandfather's) family comes from, there is a large balete tree with a pool of with fish at the bottom. It is said to be healing to stick your feet in and let the fish clean them, and just in general.

Process: I took inspiration from a photo of a large ancient one in a park. I made it by carving into a flat rectangle.
